Intermountain Furniture offers a lifetime limited warranty to the original purchaser only. This covers the frame and spring system materials against manufacturing defects and provides a 3-year sleeper mechanism warranty under conditions of ordinary residential use. Normal softening and flattening of foam and fibers as well as normal wear and tear are not considered a defect. Fabrics are not warranted against fading, dye lot, wear, length of service, or damage from any cleaning process, substance or operation. Lifetime is defined by the life of the original upholstery covering. Recovering the frame voids all warranties. This lifetime limited warranty does not apply to any product intentionally misused; or damage resulting from negligence, exposure, rental or commercial use, or other unreasonable uses. The lifetime limited warranty does not cover damage or failures due to the application of any chemical treatment, improper cleaning, or when heavy soiling or abuse is evident.

Any defects should be reported promptly to the dealer, accompanied with proof of purchase. If the repair is warranted, the dealer will facilitate the repair. Covered repairs will be completed within a reasonable timeframe. For products more than ONE (1) year old, the original retail purchaser is responsible for labor in making the repair and for shipping costs incurred. Materials cost under the lifetime limited warranty is covered by IMF.

This limited warranty establishes the original retail purchaser’s exclusive remedies. No representative, dealer, or employee of IMF has the authority to increase or alter the obligations or limitations under this warranty. The obligations of IMF under this warranty shall not exceed the cost of the non-conforming product(s). The duration of any implied warranty, including that of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose, shall be limited to ONE(1) year from the date of purchase. IN NO EVENT SHALL IMF BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES. (Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation exclusion may not apply.)
